Les 14 et 15 septembre 2000, le séminaire « Produits phytopharmacautiques : Réglementation, Sécurité, Analyses » organisé par le GIRPA d'Angers se tenait au Centre des Congrès de cette ville. Presque deux cents personnes y participaient, intéressées en tant que firmes phytosanitaires, laboratoires d'analyses de résidus, distributeurs et applicateurs de produits, coopératives, instituts techniques, établissements d'enseignement, sans oublier la Mutualité sociale agricole (MSA), deuxième organisme de protection sociale en France. Deux journées studieuses qui permettaient de faire un point sur tous les aspects réglementaires des produits de protection des plantes, y compris les contrôles, les plans de surveillance liés aux résidus, le point sur les méthodes d'analyses et enfin la sécurité des personnes qui appliquent ces produits ou ceux qui peuvent être en contact au champ. An update on regulations, control and analysis
On 14th and 15th September 2000 a seminar entitled « Plant Pharmaceutical Products : Regulations, Safety and Analyses » organised by the regional plant protection research group of Angers, was held at the Conference Centre in the city. There were almost 200 attendees, ranging from product manufacturers, distributors and users, residue analysis laboratories, co-operatives, technical institutes, teaching and training institutes, and last but not least, the Farmers' mutual insurance group (MSA), the number 2 group for social insurance in France. The two-day seminar provided an opportunity to review all of the regulatory aspects related to plant protection products, including controls, residue monitoring plans, an update on analysis methods and finally the safety of persons applying the products or who may come into contact with them in the field.
