La méthode DIBA (Dot Immuno Binding Assay) a été adaptée à la détection de plusieurs virus de plantes ornementales. The DIBA diagnosis technique is an immunoenzymatic analysis technique derived from the ELISA method (Enzyme Linked immunoSorbent Assay). The principal is explained here with the two alternative operating methods (DIBA direct and DIBA indirect).
The main guidelines for test success depend on: correct preparation of the samples, type of membrane, sampling deposit and membrane saturation. The use of the method is described with and example of the sanitary analysis of ornamental plants (detection of the virus).
