Un nouveau ravageur sur asperge: Brachycorynella asparagi
Distribution géographique du puceron, ses dégâts, la lutte... Brachycorynella asparagi is reported as a new pest of asparagus (Asparagus officinalis L.) in the asparagus-growing areas of the South Eastern France where it appeared en 1989. This aphid is monophagus on asparagus and lives monoecically and holocyclically on this host in that region. The feeding of the aphid causes growth abnormalities in the plants such as bushy appearence, development of witches brooms, rosetting of ferns, stunting of young terminal growth and roots, bunching of spears.
