Organisée par le Lycée agricole et viticole de l'Hérault, la «journée de Piquet» est devenue, au fil des ans, un événement majeur et s'inscrit parmi les rendez-vous incontournables du développement viticole de la façade méditerranéenne... In 1995, the 6th annual ""Piquet Day"" aimed at demonstrating vine protection methods was held at the ""mas de Piquet"" on 31 May. Demonstrations of vine-related equipment were given (sprays, aerial treatments, mechanical maintenance). At the same time, a technical seminar was attended by over 200 people. The seminar dealt with integrated protection : risk forecasting tools (models), the choice of products according to effectiveness and price and also their side-effects, the regulating of treatment equipment as well as personal accounts by wine growers who use integrated farming methods.
