La trifloxystrobine, nouvelle molécule fongicide de Bayer Agro, appartient à la famille des strobilurines. Différente des fongicides classiques, elle possède un mode d'action original, la « mésostémie ». Une nouvelle étape est franchie pour la protection des céréales avec son très large spectre et son haut niveau d'efficacité, en particulier sur les septorioses du blé ou encore la rhynchosporiose de l'orge.
Elle sera proposée dans une déclinaison de trois produits dont deux lui associant une triazole, qui pourront s'intégrer dans les différentes stratégies de lutte sur céréales. Three new products sold by Bayer Agro in France and based on trifloxystrobin (Twist - Trifloxystrobin straight, Sphere - a ready mix product of trifloxystrobin and cyproconazole and Rombus, a ready mix product of trifloxystrobin and propiconazole) have just get their registration in 2001 and will have a place in the most effective cereal fungicide programmes, improving the profitability and return on investment of the protection.
