Les potentialités de certains inducteurs de défenses naturelles contre des bio-agresseurs du pommier et du poirier ont été explorées. Parmi neuf inducteurs testés en conditions contrôlées contre le feu bactérien et la tavelure, deux (prohexadione-calcium de Régalis et acibenzolar-S-méthyl ou ASM) ont montré des effets significatifs.
Toujours en conditions contrôlées, ASM a des effets contre les pontes de carpocapse et contre le psylle du poirier et ASM et Régalis ont des effets contre le puceron cendré du pommier.
Trois ans d'essais en verger confirment l'existence d'un effet contre le feu bactérien et contre l'oïdium du pommier. En revanche, ils ne donnent pas de résultats probants concernant les autres bio-agresseurs du pommier et du poirier. Des essais complémentaires s'imposent donc. The object of our study was to test the potential of certain natural defence inducers against certain bio-pests affecting apple and pear trees.
9 inducers were tested in controlled conditions against fire blight and scap. Two of these inducers (i.e. calcium-prohexadion from Régalis and acibenzolar-S-methyl or ASM) have shown that they can have significant effects.
In other trials in controlled conditions, ASM had an effect on codling moth and pear psyllid spawning and both ASM and Régalis had an effect on pear bedstraw aphid.
Three years of orchard trials have confirmed the existence of effects against fire blight and would also seem to be effective in the control of apple powdery mildew. However, for the moment, no significant conclusions can be drawn in relation to other bio-pests.
