Parmi les sujets traités à son Assemblée générale du 17 mai 2005, l'UPJ souligne :
? la remontée en 2004 des chiffres d'affaires de ses adhérents en produits de protection et de fertilisation des jardins et des espaces verts, après la baisse de 2003 ;
? la finalisation de son travail d'évaluation-modélisation du risque applicateur en jardins d'amateurs et l'avancement d'un travail similaire en espaces verts, ainsi que ses travaux d'évaluation de la dérive (risque environnement) ;
? la réalisation et la diffusion en 2004 de fiches « bonnes pratiques glyphosate » pour jardins amateurs et espaces verts. Among the different items on the agenda of its AGM of 17 May 2005, the union of companies involved in the protection of gardens and amenities (UPJ) wishes to highlight the following issues :
? an upturn in sales of garden and amenity protection and fertilisation products in 2004, coming on the heels of a fall in 2003;
? the finalisation of its risk evaluation-modelisation work for amateur gardeners and a progress report on a similar project for amenities, along with its work aimed at assessing the impact of run-off on the environment;
? creation and distribution in 2004 of a series of «Good glyphosate practices» fact sheets for private gardens and public amenities.
