Le voyage d'étude du COLUMA vigne en région Midi-Pyrénées les 21 et 22 octobre 2003 a permis aux participants de découvrir :
? la station technique de l'Itv (V'innopôle) avec notamment les recherches concernant l'impact des pratiques d'entretien des sols sur la qualité du vin, mais aussi de l'eau et des sols ;
? le vignoble gaillacois, avec entre autres la visite des bassins versants de Campagnac et Laborie avec les opérations d'amélioration de la qualité des eaux ruisselant depuis ces bassins ;
? le vignoble frontonnais, avec son mode d'entretien des sols (enherbement) et la flore correspondante. A tour of vineyards in the Midi-Pyrénées region, organised by the Grapevine Weed Control Committee on 21 and 22 October 2003, allowed participants to discover :
? the ITV technical centre, with a look at interesting research into the impact of soil maintenance techniques on the quality of the wine produced, and also that of the water and soil ;
? the Gaillac vineyards, with a visit to the drainage basins of Campagnac and Laborie in order to take a look at the water quality improvement operations carried out in the region ;
? the specific soil maintenance methods used (especially controlled grassing) in the Fronton vineyards, and the flora which has established a foothold there.
