Après trois années consécutives de baisse,le Chiffre d'affaires réalisé en métropole par les adhérents de l'UIPP a augmenté de 2,09%, repassant le cap des 10 md de f.
Cette augmentation est loin de compenser les pertes précédentes, mais marque néanmoins une inversion de tendance. Overall turnover for UIPP member plant protection companies increased by 2.08% in 1994 (2.09% domestic and 2.07% export). This represents an upturn on the home market after three years of decline.
Innovation is still buoyant, in spite of the new regulations which have put a temporary halt to the launch of products containing new molecules. This innovation is becoming more and more expensive however, due mainly to the cost of toxicological testing.
