L'enquête menée sur la côte libanaise, du nord jusqu'au sud, a montré que les vergers agrumicoles supportent un certain nombre d'insectes, classés entre ravageurs potentiels et ravageurs non potentiels. Parmi les ravageurs considérés comme potentiels, nous avons retrouvé, Aonidiella auratii Mask. et Ceroplastes floridensis Comst. (Coccidae), comme espèces de cochenille (Homoptères), Aphis gossypii et Aphis citricola comme espèces de puceron (Homoptères: Aphidinae), Ceratitis capitata Wied. (Diptères: Trypetidae), et Phyllocnistis citrella Stainton (Lepidoptera: Gracillaridae). Les ravageurs considérés comme non potentiels sont : Lepidosaphes gloverii Packard, Chrysomphalus aonidum L., Chrysomphalus dictyospermi Morg. et Parlatoria pergadei Comst. (Diaspzdidae), Coccus hesperidum L. (Coccidae), et Planococcus citri Risso (Pseudococcidae) comme espèces de cochenille (Homoptères), Toxoptera aurantii Boy. comme espèce de puceron (Homoptera: Aphidinae), Aleurothrixus floccosus Mask., Dialeurodes citri Ashm., et Parabemisia myricae Kuwana, comme espèces d'aleurode (Homoptères:Aleurodinae). The survey led on the Lebanese coast, from the North to the South, has shown that Citrus orchards support a certain number of insects, classified between potential and non potential pests.
Among the potential pests, we have found, Aonidiella aurantii Mask and Lepidosaphes beckii Newn. (Diaspididae), Saissetia oleae Bern. and Ceroplastes floridensis Comst. (Coccidae), as scale insects species (Homoptera), Aphis gossypii and Aphis citricola as aphid species (Homoptera : Aphidinae), Ceratitis capitata Wied. (Diptera : Trypetidae), and Phyllocnistis citrella Stainton (Lepidoptera : Gracillaridae). The non potential pests found were : Lepidosaphes gloverii Packard, Chrysomphalus aonidum L., Chrysomphalus dictyospermi Morg., and Parlatoria pergadei Comst. (Diaspididae), Coccus hesperidum L. (Coccidae), and Planococcus citri Risso (Pseudococcidae) as scale insects and mealy bugs species (Homoptera), Toxoptera aurantii Boy. as aphid species (Homoptera : Aphidinae), Aleurothrixus floccosus Mask., Dialeurodes citri (Ashm., and Parabemisia myricae Kuwana, as whitefly species (Homoptera).
