Un inventaire des cochenilles présentes sous serres des parcs et jardins de France a été mené en collaboration par la société Koppert, des municipalités, le LNPV, le Museum (MNHN) et le CIRAD.
Sont présentées neuf espèces de cochenilles parmi les 38 (appartenant à cinq familles) identifiées dans le cadre de cet inventaire.
Sont présentées deux espèces d'Asterolecaniidae (Bambusaspis bambusae et Bambusaspis miliaris) et sept Coccidae (Coccus hesperidum, Saissetia coffeae, Saissetia oleae, Coccus longulus, Ceroplastes sinensis, Eucalymnatus tessellatus et Protopulvinaria pyriformis).
La protection des végétaux est évoquée avec les possibilités de lutte biologique à l'aide d'auxiliaires naturels (dont l'inventaire est mené aussi) ou introduits.

An inventory of mealy bugs present in amenity greenhouses in France has been carried out jointly by the Koppert company, local authorities, the CIRAD, the LNPV and the Natural History Museum (MNHN).
The article presents nine of the 38 bug species (which belong to five different families) which were identified in the course of the inventory, including two Asterolecaniidae species (Bambusaspis bambusae and Bambusaspis miliaris) seven Coccidae (Coccus hesperidum, Saissetia coffeae, Saissetia oleae, Coccus longulus, Ceroplastes sinensis, Eucalymnatus tessellatus and Protopylvinaria pyriformis).
The issue of plant protection is dealt with, highlighting the possibility of biological control using natural beneficial insects already present (for which an inventory was also carried out) or introduced.
Future articles will deal with the twenty-nine other mealy bug species identified during the inventory.
