This article deals with the answers given on 5 April 1995 by representatives of the European Commission to questions from the audience during a special day organised by the AFPP to examine developments in the regulations covering phytopharmaceutical products. (Pre-prepared contents of the presentations will be published in an AFPP document). Exchanges dealt mainly with the enforcement of European directive N° 91/414, in particular the progress made in the re-certification of former active ingredients and the approval of products containing new active ingredients, as well as the deadline required for each procedure. Further and minor uses were also brought up.
