Un inventaire des cochenilles présentes sous serres des parcs et jardins de France a été mené en collaboration par la société Koppert, des municipalités, le LNPV, le Muséum (MNHN) et le CIRAD. Ce deuxième article fait suite à un premier article présentant les généralités sur les cochenilles, les possibilités de lutte biologique et traitant de deux espèces d'Asterolecanidae et sept espèces de Coccidae.
Sont présentées ici 9 espèces de Pseudococcidae (Balanococcus diminutus, Phenacoccus madeirensis, Planococcus citri, Pseudococcus longispinus, Ps. microcirculus, Ps. viburni, Rhizoecus dianthi, Trochiscococcus speciosus et Vryburgia rimariae) et une espèce d' Eriococcidae (Ovaticoccus agavium). De prochains articles présenteront les espèces de Diaspididae recensées dans le cadre de cet inventaire. A survey of the scale insects present in amenity greenhouses in France has been carried out jointly by the Koppert Company, local authorities, the LNPV, the National Museum of Natural History (MNHN) and the Cirad.
This article n°2 is the second part of a previous article giving the general characters of the scale insects, the possibility of biological control and dealing with 2 species of Asterolecanidae (pit scales) and 7 species of Coccidae (soft scales).
Here are presented 9 species of Pseudococcidae (Balanococcus diminutus, Phenacoccus madeirensis, Planococcus citri, Pseudococcus longispinus, Ps. microcirculus, Ps. viburni, Rhizoecus dianthi, Trochiscococcus speciosus and Vryburgia rimariae).
One species of Eriococcidae (Ovaticoccus agavium) is presented. Further articles will deal with the Diaspididae involved in this survey.
